The NOAA Weather-Ready Nation Ambassadors program is an effort to formally recognize NOAA partners who are actively improving the nation's readiness and responsiveness to severe weather events. NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) initiated the program to help build a country that is ready and responsive to Mother Nature’s worst.  

NOAA ambassadors are located all over the country. Each one works closely with NOAA in helping inform the public of weather risks through various platforms, with social media being of the largest.

In December of 2018 SERVPRO of Coeur d'Alene was selected as a Weather-Ready Ambassador. It is our commitment to helping keep our neighbors in the Northern Idaho area informed of weather activity as well as timely information on how to prepare for inclement weather. Watch for these messages on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.

This program works well with the principals SERVPRO has been built on. Like our partners across the country, SERVPRO of Coeur d'Alene takes pride in educating those in our community on emergency preparedness. While we work with NOAA to keep people safe in the event of severe weather, we have over three decades of experience helping people deal with the aftermath of the same storms.
